All V-Colo packages come with these features:
- Your choice of OS
- Easy-to-use Web Control Panel
for controlling your virtual hardware, modifying your account info, paying
bills, etc.
- One IP address
- Disk storage on mirrored Fiber-Channel disk arrays, so:
- single-disk failures won't kill your server
- total server hardware failure can be recovered from in minutes,
not hours
- performance is superior to the more common consumer-grade SATA disks
- Free nightly backup of your disk (details in this
FAQ)
- DNS for up to 100 domains
- Reboot your server over the Internet using our console server
- Console access via ssh to our console server
- Plenty of expandability, with our
Add-Ons
The plans below offer flexibility and
economic pricing. If none of these suits, we can put together a
Custom Package for you.

- You may choose a 10% subscription
price discount or a 50% disk space bonus
with your
annual prepaid account.
- Rsync backups are free, and usually
come pre-configured, but you can disable them if you choose. That's
usually a bad idea, since we keep no other backups of your data, unless you
pay for
tape archiving.

Notes:
- Some 32-bit OSes will not be able to use more than 4GB of RAM. You
may have to use a 64-bit OS to make use of all the RAM in your
V-Colo. The list of OSes with 64-bit support is here.

All V-Colo packages can be customized with add-ons, which come in standard
and bulk sizes. You can purchase any number of either size.

Operating Systems
You may choose any operating system
from the following list. ("Size" is the minimum size of the disk required by
the operating system.)
Don't hesitate to ask us to add a new
distribution to it. We will probably be able to accomodate most
reasonable requests. And if you don't ask for what you want, we won't know
there's a demand for it.
